MDCAT Prep - Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how users of the MDCAT Prep mobile application can request deletion of their account and associated personal data.

Important: Account deletion is permanent and may result in the loss of your account information and data associated with the MDCAT Prep app.

How to Request Account Deletion

To request deletion of your MDCAT Prep account, send an email from the email address associated with your account to our support team.

  1. Open your email application.
  2. Send an email to our support address.
  3. Use "Account Deletion Request" as the subject.
  4. Include the email address associated with your MDCAT Prep account.
  5. We will process your request and delete the applicable account data.

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When an account deletion request is processed, we will delete the personal data associated with the user's account that is stored by MDCAT Prep, subject to any data that we are legally required to retain.

This may include:

  • Firebase Authentication account
  • Email address associated with the account
  • User profile information
  • User-specific data stored in our database

Data That May Be Retained

Some information may be retained if required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or other legitimate purposes. Any retained data will only be kept for the period required for that purpose.

Processing Time

Account deletion requests are normally processed within 7 days. You may receive confirmation once your request has been completed.
